Work T-Shirts With Logo: How to Order Printed Workwear for Your Team

Printed work t-shirts are the cheapest uniform a business can buy: one logo on the chest turns any team into a recognisable one, whether they are on a market stall, a building site, a café counter or a trade show floor. This guide covers what actually matters when you order work t-shirts with a logo — the print method, what to send, what a proof is, how pricing scales, and how quickly they can be ready.

What you are actually buying

A printed work t-shirt is a plain cotton tee with your logo pressed onto it. Two things decide whether it looks professional a year later: the garment and the print method.

We print on plain white, black, navy and grey tees in sizes S to 2XL, and we print with two methods:

• DTF (direct-to-film) transfer — full-colour, photo-quality, soft to the touch, and it stretches with the fabric. The right choice for coloured or detailed logos.
• Heat-press vinyl — a solid single-colour film cut to your logo shape. Very durable and crisp for simple one-colour logos and text.

We do not screen print, embroider or use DTG — everything is DTF or vinyl, pressed in-house at our London E1 workshop. If you want embroidered polo shirts, we are honestly not the right supplier; for printed workwear we are.

Our work t-shirts with logo are the starting point for most staff orders; standard custom logo t-shirts from £14.95 work just as well when the budget is tighter.

What to send us

Three things, and none of them need to be perfect:

1. Your logo file. A vector file (SVG, PDF, AI) prints sharpest. A good-quality PNG works. A photo of your van or a screenshot of your website usually does not — but send it anyway and we will tell you what we can do.
2. A size list. "3 medium, 4 large, 2 XL" is all we need. Mixed sizes and colours in one order are normal.
3. Where the logo goes. Left chest is the classic workwear position. Back print is the visibility position. Both is £6 more per shirt.

You then get a free digital proof — a mockup of the finished shirt — and nothing is printed until you reply "approved". That step is what stops the wrong colour, the wrong size or a low-resolution logo from reaching the press.

How much do work t-shirts with a logo cost?

There are no setup fees with DTF, so the price per shirt is simply the shirt plus the print, and it falls as the quantity rises:

• One shirt is fine — single-unit minimum, from £14.95 for a standard tee.
• From the second shirt an automatic volume discount applies in the basket; you do not need a code.

• Front and back print adds £6 per shirt.

How fast can printed workwear be ready?

Standard production is 1–2 working days after you approve the proof, followed by free tracked UK delivery. If a start date is looming, express production is available for a small extra cost, and London businesses can collect from our E1 workshop, five minutes from Liverpool Street. For genuine emergencies there is a dedicated same-day t-shirt printing service: order and approve before 11am, collect from 3pm.

Will the print survive work?

DTF and vinyl prints are washable at 40°C, inside out, and do not crack or peel with normal use. They are used on hospitality and trade uniforms that are washed several times a week. Avoid tumble-drying on high heat and ironing directly over the print, and a work tee will outlast its first year comfortably.

Frequently asked questions

Can every shirt have a different name on it? Yes. Names, roles or numbers on each shirt cost nothing extra — send a list alongside the logo.

Do you print polo shirts and hoodies too? Yes, subject to stock — the same DTF and vinyl methods apply to polos, hoodies and tote bags. Heavier garments are best confirmed on WhatsApp first.

Can you invoice our company? For team orders we can raise a VAT invoice for bank transfer. Send the quantity and your company details and we will quote the same day.
