The print method matters more than the mug

Cheap promotional mugs are often printed with a vinyl transfer that sits on the surface. It looks fine on day one and starts lifting in the dishwasher.

Our mugs are dye-sublimated: the ink is turned into gas under heat and bonded into the mug's ceramic coating, wrapped edge to edge around an 11oz mug. Because the print is in the glaze rather than on it, it does not peel, scratch or fade with daily dishwasher use. For an office mug that goes through the dishwasher five times a week, that is the whole game.

Small quantities are fine

You do not need to order 200 to get branded mugs. Our branded wrap mug is £13.50 for a single mug with no minimum — order one to check the print before committing to a run for the whole office, and the same workshop prints both.

What to send

A logo — vector ideally, a good PNG works — and the quantity. If each mug needs a different name, a simple typed list. We email a digital mockup of the finished mug within a working day; nothing is printed until you approve it.

How long does it take?

Standard production is 1–2 working days after proof approval, with free tracked UK delivery. Runs into the hundreds take a little longer — tell us your date and we will confirm before you pay. Express production is available when an event is close, and London companies can collect from our E1 workshop near Liverpool Street.

Frequently asked questions

Can you invoice us rather than take a card payment? Yes — for larger orders we raise a VAT invoice for bank transfer. Send the quantity and company details for a same-day quote.

Are the mugs dishwasher and microwave safe? Dishwasher safe, yes — that is the point of sublimation. Microwave use is fine for the ceramic; we recommend the top rack of the dishwasher for the longest print life.

Can the print go all the way round? Yes. The wrap covers the full circumference, so a logo on both sides or a panoramic design is standard.
