Custom Vinyl Stickers: Which Sticker Material Do You Actually Need?

Almost every "custom sticker" is printed on vinyl — but which vinyl, and what goes on top of it, decides whether your sticker peels off a water bottle in a week or is still on a van door three winters later. This guide matches each material to the job it is good at, with our real prices, so you can order the right custom vinyl stickers first time.

Standard vinyl logo stickers

The workhorse. A white vinyl with your full-colour logo printed on it, cut to shape. Weatherproof and dishwasher-safe, so it handles laptops, bottles, packaging and shop windows. Our custom vinyl stickers come as a pack of 10 from £6.95, and a set of 10 personalised decals is £9.99 when you want a mix of designs. For laptops specifically, the laptop sticker pack is a set of four for £9.95.

Choose it for: logos, packaging, giveaways, water bottles, anything indoors or lightly outdoors.

Clear (transparent) stickers

Printed on clear vinyl with no white backing, so only your artwork shows and the surface behind it shows through. Brilliant on glass, packaging and coloured surfaces where a white rectangle would look cheap. Transparent stickers are £8.95, scratch-resistant, any shape.

Choose it for: glass jars, windows, product packaging, phone cases. Avoid it for: dark surfaces if your logo has light colours with no white behind them — ask us and we will advise on a white under-layer.

Holographic stickers

Rainbow-shimmer vinyl that shifts colour as it moves. Attention-grabbing on merch and packaging, and a favourite of streamers and small brands. Holographic stickers are £14.95.

Choose it for: merch, limited editions, anything meant to be noticed. Avoid it for: logos that depend on exact brand colours — the shimmer changes them.

Die-cut stickers

"Die-cut" means the sticker is cut to the outline of your design rather than a square or circle around it. Any of the materials above can be die-cut; our die-cut custom stickers start at £11.95, and the 60 laminated die-cut stickers pack at £21.99 is the bulk option for events and mailers.

Laminated stickers: bumper and outdoor

Lamination is a clear protective layer over the print. It is the difference between a sticker that fades in sunlight and one that survives rain, car washes and UV. Our custom bumper stickers are laminated vinyl at £4.95, built for exactly that.

Choose it for: cars, vans, bikes, outdoor signage, anything in direct sun.

Sticker sheets, labels and big decals

• Custom sticker sheets — several small designs on one peelable sheet, £5.95. Good for planners, packaging inserts and kids' events.
• Product labels on a roll — £24.95, for jars, boxes and packaging lines where you apply hundreds by hand or machine.
• Large window and wall decals — £18.95, for shop fronts and office walls.
• Anti-slip floor decals — £29.95, textured and certified for foot traffic.

Packs, minimums and what the price covers

Some stickers are sold singly and some in fixed packs, and the product page always says which. The rule of thumb: logo stickers and decals come in packs of 10, laptop stickers in packs of 4, die-cut bulk packs in 60s; clear, holographic, bumper and large decals are priced per sticker. There is no minimum order beyond the pack itself, and every order gets a free digital proof before printing.

How fast?

Stickers are among the fastest things we print. Standard production is 1–2 working days after you approve the proof, with free tracked UK delivery. In London, same-day sticker collection is available when you order before 11am — often within the hour for simple jobs — from our E1 workshop near Liverpool Street.

Frequently asked questions

What file do I send? A vector (SVG, PDF, AI) for the cleanest cut line; a high-resolution PNG also works. We die-cut to the outline of your artwork.

Are they waterproof? All our vinyl is weatherproof; the laminated bumper and die-cut packs are the ones to choose for long-term outdoor use.

Can I mix designs in one order? Yes — the sticker pack and sticker sheet products exist for exactly that.
